Privacy Policy
This notice covers the Mapstead website and describes how the Mapstead Android app is designed to handle property information. It is a draft published ahead of launch and is not legal advice.
Who we are
Mapstead is published by JuMaSt Appworks LLC. For privacy questions, write to privacy@mapstead.app.
The Mapstead Android app
- Core property records are designed to be stored locally on your Android device.
- Mapstead does not operate a server that stores users' property records.
- Location is used only when you actively use a location feature, such as capturing your position while placing a map point.
- Precise property information is not automatically uploaded.
- Online map tiles may require an internet connection. Requesting map imagery is not a transfer of your property records.
- Cloud backup and synchronization are not currently available in customer builds, so your own device backups matter.
- Reports and handoff packages are generated on your device. You decide whether to share them and with whom.

Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form are stored so we can respond, and are delivered to our team by email. We keep them only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up.
Abuse prevention
To limit spam and abuse we apply rate limiting and store a derived identifier for submissions along with the time of the request. This is used for abuse prevention only.
Service providers
The website uses a hosted database to store contact records and an email delivery provider to send notification and reply emails. These providers process the data described above on our behalf.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for marketing purposes.
Your choices
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you by emailing privacy@mapstead.app.
- Choose not to submit the contact form; the rest of the site works without it.
Changes
This notice will be updated as Mapstead moves from open testing toward a production release, and materially different handling will be described here before it takes effect.
