Property handoff
Hand over a property without handing over a mystery
Generate a property PDF report, or a full handoff package containing the reports plus your original attachments, for a buyer, family member, caretaker, or property manager.
Reports and export
Turn your records into something you can hand to a person
Property PDF report
A report covering infrastructure, maintenance history, upcoming tasks, and mapped-asset information.
Handoff ZIP package
Reports plus the original attachments you added, bundled into one export you control.
Infrastructure summary
What systems exist on the property, how they relate, and where they are located.
Maintenance history
What has been serviced, when, by whom, and what it cost.
Mapped asset information
The locations you recorded, so the next person is not searching the yard with a shovel.
You decide who receives it
Mapstead does not deliver exports anywhere on your behalf. You share the file yourself.
Who it is for
Moments a property handoff package earns its keep
- Selling a home and answering buyer questions
- Buying a property and asking the seller for records
- Handing a family property to the next generation
- Briefing a caretaker before an extended absence
- Onboarding a new property manager
- Giving a contractor context before a big job
- Supporting an insurance claim with documentation
- Settling an estate with clear property records
Being clear
What the handoff package is not
The export is a document package, not a cloud backup. Mapstead does not store your records on a Mapstead server, and generating an export does not create an off-device copy unless you save or send it yourself.
It is also not a legal disclosure document, a survey, or an inspection report. It reflects the information you entered and the accuracy of the locations you recorded.
Treat it the way you would treat a well-organized binder handed across a kitchen table: extremely useful, and still something the recipient should verify for anything consequential.
Make the next owner's first year easier
Mapstead is available for Android open testing on Google Play. The current build is a testing version, not a production release, and tester feedback directly shapes what comes next.
